Shito is a rich, deeply savoury chilli sauce originating from Ghana. Traditionally made with dried fish, chillies, and spices slow-cooked in oil, it's one of West Africa's most beloved condiments — used as a dip, marinade, and everyday flavour-booster.
Yes — once opened, store your shito in the fridge. It keeps well for up to 4 weeks once opened. Unopened jars can be kept in a cool, dry cupboard.
Fish Shito contains fish (a major allergen). Beef and Chicken Shito do not contain fish but are made in the same kitchen — please exercise caution if you have a severe fish allergy. All varieties are gluten-free and dairy-free.
UK orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 3–5 working days. 3-jar bundle orders qualify for free standard delivery. Express options are available at checkout.
